What We Offer

Our programmes are inclusive, adaptable, and designed to meet the diverse needs of people living in care and supported settings.

We deliver:

  • Group and one-to-one exercise sessions, tailored to individual abilities and support needs

  • Chair-based exercise sessions, with seated and standing options to accommodate all mobility levels

  • Music-led movement to enhance enjoyment, rhythm, and motivation

  • Integrated cognitive stimulation, including memory prompts, dual-task activities, and simple problem-solving

  • Socially engaging activities that encourage communication, confidence, and meaningful participation

Sessions can be delivered weekly or fortnightly, with 45 or 60 minute options, and are adapted over time to maintain engagement and progression.

How It Works

We make getting started simple, supportive, and risk-free.

1. Free Consultation or Taster Session
We begin with a no-obligation consultation to discuss your setting and residents, then arrange a free taster session so staff and residents can experience a class and explore whether it would be beneficial.

2. Assessment & Planning
We consider mobility, cognition, communication needs, and existing care plans to design appropriate sessions.

3. Session Delivery
Our experienced instructors deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive sessions tailored to your environment.

4. Ongoing Review & Adaptation
We work closely with staff to review and adapt sessions, ensuring continued safety, progression, and enjoyment.

What People Say

“Ben has been coming to Abbeycrest for over a year and our residents absolutely love his sessions. He adapts exercises to suit all abilities, supports residents when needed, and creates a positive, enjoyable atmosphere where both residents and staff enjoy getting involved.

Ben is reliable, flexible with our schedules, and takes the time to get to know each resident and their needs. Many residents say his sessions help them feel better for the rest of the day, supporting both their physical and mental wellbeing.”
- Activities Coordinator, Abbeycrest Care Home

“Ben delivers inclusive group sessions while offering person-centred guidance to individual residents, including those living with dementia. He is professional, reliable, and builds strong relationships with residents. His positive approach and communication skills encourage residents to feel confident and take part.”
- Engagement Lead, Lakeside Care Home

“Ben’s class is one of the residents’ favourites and focuses on strength and stretching to keep them supple and strong. He uses age-appropriate music and resistance bands so residents can work at their own level, offering hands-on support when needed.

One of our residents, Peter, who is 99, says it’s his favourite class and never misses a session. We would highly recommend these sessions as a fantastic way for older people to keep active.”
- Events Manager, Shinfield View Care Home

“Ben consistently adapts sessions to meet individual needs and communicates effectively with both residents and staff. He has successfully engaged someone who previously refused all fitness activities, and they now actively look forward to his sessions. His work is valued by both residents and staff a like.”
- Deputy Home Manager, Richmond Road
